March 11... On To Arizona!

... And what an adventure that was. We took the long trip to Arizona, stopping in Vegas for a few hours to tour the city and shop. I began to notice my gum getting stiff and flavorless, and suddenly had the bright idea to just get rid of it. Not only that, but to put it somewhere public. I have always looked down on those stupid kids who stick their gum under the table, but in the words of the most awesome Tommy O'Dell, "Don't knock it till you try it." Plus, I figured that Vegas was already dirty enough to begin with. So at the opportune moment, I ran up to a fence and stuck my lil piece of gum right on the tip. I had to convince Ray to come back to take a picture, and ran away wildly, because a man was there to witness the whole thing. It sure was crazy.

If you ever come back to Vegas, look my gum up, eh? :)

The rest of the trip was spent driving to Gilbert, Arizona. On the way we stumbled upon (literally, we didn't know we'd be passing through) the one and only... Hoover Dam! What a cool place. They are building a new bridge and it looks like the shiz. Awesome pic, and we didn't even have to get out of the car for this one, baby.

When we finally reached our destination, THE HASTINGS (Spencer Hasting's local family mansion, equipped with ranch, basketball hoop, and winding staircase) we were thrilled to be there. The house was so nice, and the group we were with was awesome. We spent the night playing games and hanging out, and I tried my first ever lasso'ing! One of the guys there knew how to lasso, and he had a fake calf to practice on. Though I looked incredibly stupid, I still gave it a try and felt like a total retard trying to do it. Maybe one day I'll be able to lasso random men to me, but until then, i'll stick to fake animals :P
