July 24... 6.2 miles

After months of training and busting my butt, this was the moment of truth. I stood there at the the starting line in the early dawn, surrounded by people. I was more nervous than I had ever been for anything else, and I was anxious to see what my little legs could do. The line started to lurch forward, and I found myself inching towards the edge, ready or not. Then I took my first step... and the rest was a blur. The sound of thundering footsteps on the streets, my loud music, and the countless people around me, urging me to move forward. An hour and seven minutes later, I crossed that finish line, without a single stop.
I've never had a more victorious moment than the day I ran my first 10k.

That is awesome Cort! And you put in a pretty good time too. I think I would probably pass out at about mile 2 if I had to do that!
